How I Achieve 365 days of consistent fitness routine

In this article, I will talk about how you can have a consistent fitness routine throughout the year. I will mainly discuss the fitness routine on busy days. I will also mention the benefits which you will get after following this routine.

Anyone who couldn’t able to maintain a consistent exercise routine because of a few busy days in a year should read this. They will also understand the benefits of having a such routine.

After reading this content, you will get a framework that anyone can follow easily. This framework will also help you remain alert and focused on your busy days.

Coming from a simple middle-class family where people have only one life goal which is to earn money, I have understood the importance of relationships, mental health, financial freedom, and physical health. I have created a fitness routine which will definitely help anyone remain fit if not in shape throughout the year. I am personally following this for more than 3 years now.

Hitting the gym, playing Athletics sports or going to some fitness class every day can be very tough especially when you have a moderate to high work pressure lifestyle. No matter how determined you are, you will have some rough weeks in which you don’t want to or don’t get time to continue your daily fitness journey. On those days you can do some light exercise at home, especially pranayama. You can also do some 15–20 minutes full-body exercises easily available on youtube. Following this framework of fitness have countless benefits, though I am discussing only 3 most important of those benefits here:

  • Alert even on rough days: Since you have given your body some tough time in the morning, it makes your mind alert and focused throughout your busy day. If you miss doing any exercise on any particular day, you feel sluggish no matter how good sleep you had the previous night.
  • Intact daily routine: If you miss your exercise time, it’s highly likely that you will miss your other daily good habits which may include reading, writing or meditation. This usually happens because you start feeling that you have a lot of time. In short, you become lazy and start procrastinating.
  • Consistent: Most important of all, doing light exercise even on busy days keeps you consistent. Having consistency is very important. It keeps you disciplined and so you don’t need motivation for every task, it just happens. As they say, you should never miss 3 continuous days of your fitness routine, light exercise helps you achieve that without much trouble.

Although light exercise is a very good alternative to your daily fitness routine on rough days, it should not replace your regular fitness routine. Light exercise shouldn’t be done more than 2 times a week.
